Our experience in the timber industry helps us provide the best hardwoods to our customers.
Hardwoods is the baseline for many industries, and developing a solid foundation is critical to ensure you achieve the best finished product. The Clonch family has been dealing in hardwoods for four generations. Over the years, we’ve stuck to the same values – practicing excellent customer service and delivering hardwoods that exceeds our clients’ expectations. We don’t just want to be your supplier, we want to be your partner.
Located 100% in the heart of Appalachia, Clonch’s timber procurement comes from one of the most thriving hardwood forests in the world. Clonch Industries owns and sustainably manages timberland, sawmill with multiple saws, and multiple kilns at their corporate location in West Virginia. Our annual production capacity is 20 million board feet and our kiln drying capacity is over 16 million board feet annually.
Our timberland hosts a variety of Appalachian Hardwood species including red and white oak, poplar, hard and soft maple, basswood, hickory, cherry, ash and walnut. We harvest all our lumber in accordance with local, state and federal regulations and Best Management Practices to ensure sustainability.
Clonch Industries utilizes the full product of the log. We work with companies across many industries that need a variety of wood products.
We produce high quality, low ash virgin Appalachian Hardwood sawdust. Our sawdust is blown directly into covered trailers to avoid contaminants on the ground and protect it during transit.
We sell our green, Appalachian hardwood chips to paper plants, and power plants, but they can be used for other purposes as well.
We debark our logs before processing and sell the bark to mulch manufacturers, paper plant, and power plants.
We stand behind our products and, if our customer is not happy, we want to be the first to know about it. If there’s something wrong, we’re going to make every reasonable effort to make it right in order to keep our customers coming back year after year.
